In 2012, A Daisy A Day was purchased by local residents, Mike and Linda Byrne and their friend – a talented florist named Jenna Naylor. Now as the shop commemorates its 40th birthday, the trio has rebranded the concept with a new website, new logo and new name – BLOOM with Jenna.
“We waited a few years to take this leap,” said Naylor. “We wanted to really get to know our customers and learn from them ways that we might improve on an already great concept. It’s been voted Best in Gwinnett for the last 11 years! While the mission at the heart of the shop remains the same – to provide excellent customer service and beautiful floral arrangements to suit any occasion – there will be some key changes. With our sleek new logo and state-of-the-art website comes a new direction: to take customer service and our floral arrangements to entirely new levels. We want our customers to feel at ease with us – as though they’re talking to an old friend. We feel that’s important when planning something as momentous and potentially overwhelming as a wedding or funeral. We also want to infuse our own unique brand of artistry into our arrangements in order to put the ‘special’ in any special occasion.”
With 17 years in the floral design industry to her credit, Naylor is an accredited Member of the American Institute of Floral Designers and Georgia Master Florist. Additional attributes include being named 2012 and 2014 Designer of the Year and 2010 and 2012 Burton Cup Winner by the Georgia State Florists’ Association, as well as 2012 and 2014 Mid-America Invitational Cup Winner. While Naylor provides a wealth of education, credentials and talent as BLOOM with Jenna’s lead designer, her partners – Mike Byrne, a full-time attorney in Snellville and Linda Byrne, a full-time teacher at Lilburn Elementary – bring a never-ending store of enthusiasm and solid business sense to the company. The trio looked to award-winning Accent Creative Group for their company’s new logo design and marketing materials, and to Bret Phillips and the Web Devils team for the creation of the new website.
