About Face Skin Care: Case Study

As we approach our 12th year in business, I have been delighted to see the wonderful results we have been able to help clients achieve at About Face Skin Care.  As many of you know, I was a surgical nurse in Plastic Surgery and had assisted in face lifting procedures for 6 years when my surgeons retired and About Face was born.  My goal over these years has been to provide the highest quality of noninvasive anti-aging treatments in the safest environment possible.  I have been fortunate to develop an excellent NonSurgical Facelift program that has kept clients consistently happy and youthful for many years.  I am also proud of the knowledgeable and caring staff that has helped me provide these services and guide clients in the right direction for anti-aging care.  I would like to share the treatment plan and results of a client that is just finishing up her program.

Optical quality – why does it matter?

Optical quality – why does it matter?
By Richard Carlin, MD

Never before in history has the consumer had so many choices in where to purchase goods and services. From the big box stores to the mom and pop store, from the retail chain store to the internet, choices are seemingly endless. Certainly the optical industry has not escaped this trend. But make no mistake, choice is a good thing.

Doctoring… in the family

Doctors Jimenez

In 1978, the Jimenez family put down roots in Snellville. It was a very small town then and the medical profession was just beginning to blossom. Prior to new doctors arriving, most folks had to travel to be seen by most specialists.

GMC is transforming healthcare

With a motto of Transforming Healthcare, Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) is perfectly poised to serve the health needs of its citizens and those beyond the county borders. But as the motto more subtlety infers, the hospital system’s areas of expertise cover a lot of ground.

TMJ Disorders

Growing up I often heard the advertisement stating, “orange juice isn’t just for breakfast anymore.” My mind often wanders back to this commercial when I think of Botox. While most people conjure up an image of a wrinkle-free face, that is just one of several benefits. I think one of the most promising and exciting uses involves TMJ disorders and the headaches associated with muscle tension around the joint.
