March is bittersweet as photographically we begin to wrap up the school year. This is often when we start to realize that many of the kids we began photographing as sweet kindergarteners are actually graduating high school and moving onto exciting new adventures.
When we do Homecoming Crownings, the King and Queen are predictably good looking and charming. However, Brookwood High School Homecoming King, Jacob Oldknow, shown being crowned by Principal Bo Ford, is the next level.
This past summer our immediate staff (family and Meredith who is like family but much calmer) made a decision by not making a decision. None of us went on vacation. By late August we were a pleasant but zombie like group.
Some of us grumble because we are temporarily deprived of blessings our forefathers never even heard of.
To climb higher remain on the level.
Moving around — A Lot — to different states during the first part of our marriage was expected as Les built his career as a Hospital Administrator. When we moved back here (home) in 1995, we were ready for a hometown.
Who could be more photogenic then a group of Brookwood High School Football Dads in suit coats and shorts with ill-advised shoes? It is a rhetorical question and the obvious answer is “Wow!”
