Spring festivals are the very best. They offer hope that better weather is ahead and that the winter blahs are fading. This year will mark the fourth annual Spring Green Festival in Historic Downtown Lawrenceville on March 29, 2014 beginning at 8am – 6pm and it’s already touching lives.

Most people in downtown Atlanta claim they can’t go outside the Perimeter because the air is too thin! If it is too thin in as they claim, then that must be why people are patient, kind and loving to one another in Gwinnett and New Lawrenceville. All 16 of these small towns in Gwinnett County are known for small hometown sensibility and loving one another. February is the month of Love. There are valentines, hearts and roses for all those in Love. But the New Lawrenceville community shares another kind of Love with its residents, business owners and visitors.

Welcome to 2014, you have arrived. Reset, Relax & Release are my favorite 3R’s for any stressful situation or just to get a grip on the day. So here we are in the first of the New Year 2014 and I hope you will “Reset” your goals or your mindset, “Relax” the tension in your body, mind and spirit so you can focus on the positive energy you will “Release” into your life, work & the Universe.
Ring a ling make those local business cash registers ring! It was as if the forks barely hit our plates from the last bite of Thanksgiving and many people were out the doors to go shopping in those big box stores and those big discounts.
Haul out the “Holley”; “Put up the tree before my spirit falls again. Fill up the stocking, I may be rushing things, but deck the halls again now, for we need a little Christmas!” The best way to get your Christmas going is purchasing your “The Nutcracker 2013” Tickets TODAY! The Gwinnett Ballet Theatre (GBT) is celebrating its 31st season of performing the Nutcracker for area audiences.
