A champion among us

A champion among us

This month, I wanted to focus on another teen in our community.  Jordan Wolfe appears to be an average fourteen-year-old eighth grader, but for those who know her favorite past time, they respect her as a champion.

One of my favorite stories in the Bible is the story of David and Goliath.  It’s a great underdog story.  You have Goliath who is a grown man and experienced fighting champion.  He is almost ten feet tall.   It’s hard to describe how big and strong he was.

Peace on Earth?

For me personally, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.  It’s an opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2016 – a hopeful embrace

It’s time. It’s time to go back to work, to school, to the usual morning traffic and live on without the Christmas music. All of the family members have gone home and Santa is back in the North Pole.
