October 14 – GRAYSON, GA –  While many other local markets have shut down for the end of the summer season, the Grayson Farmers Market planned for an extended season with several local growers to provide produce through November. “In the early summer, several of our vendors asked to extend the market to allow for sales through the fall harvest,” explained Sylvia Still, the Market Manager.

Local Marine Veteran to be Grand Marshal at Wounded Warrior Fundraiser

St. Oliver Plunkett’s Knights of Columbus council 13440 is sponsoring a motorcycle fundraiser to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project of Georgia. The 50 mile escorted ride will take place Saturday, November 1st departing from American Legion Post #233 in Loganville, stopping to pay tribute at the Veterans Walk of Heroes in Black Shoals Park near Conyers and ending at St. Olivers Catholic Church Snellville.
