His doctor had leveled his gaze at John and informed him that if he didn’t lose weight, he would die. When John stumbled out of his doctor’s office in a daze, just four months ago, he weighed 437 pounds.

Get ready archery enthusiasts! A recently renovated archery range at Walton Wildlife Management Area has officially re-opened to the public.  This is one of almost 40 archery and shooting ranges currently available on public land in Georgia.

For the sixth year in a row, Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report magazine as the most ethnically diverse Southern regional college. The ranking was included in the magazine’s 2020 “College Compass” report, issued today.

Todd Olsen Returns to Lilburn Daze

In the early ’90s a Christian pop-rock band was formed known as The Waiting, founded by local brothers Brad and Todd Olsen. Todd, who grew up in and lives in Lilburn, made arrangements for one of the band’s first gigs to be at Lilburn Daze, the annual Arts and Crafts Festival held in Lilburn City Park.
