Stand your ground is a movie based on a novel written by Jackie Carpenter and is centered on real life events. When her son is accused of murder, her normal life as a mother of two grown men gets turned upside down and all she has left to hold on to is her deep faith in God.
The National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, New York has selected Dance Magic: the Photography of Richard Calmes to be on view from April 2014 to April, 2015. The exhibition was selected under the Museum’s Art in the Foyer program which annually welcomes dance-inspired fine art.

Lawrenceville Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson issued a Proclamation making Wednesday, September 4, 2013 “Mary Frazier Long Day in Lawrenceville” at the Lawrenceville City Council meeting on that date. Many of Ms. Long’s accomplishments and contributions to Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County were proclaimed by Mayor Johnson.
