On Saturday, October 7, 2017, the Gwinnett Historical Society hosted the 39th annual Elisha Winn Fair held at the Elisha Winn House located at 908 Dacula Road, Dacula, Georgia.
On Tuesday evening, October 10, 2017, the Lawrenceville Police Department hosted the first in a series of quarterly public information forums designed to educate the public on the responsibilities of local law enforcement while strengthening community relations and continuing to bridge the gap between police officers and civilians.

Lawrenceville – Gwinnett residents have until Monday, Oct. 16 to contact the County to request free removal of yard debris from Tropical Storm Irma and to set yard debris at curbside for pickup.
Lawrenceville – Tax Commissioner Richard Steele reminds property owners that 2017 property tax bills are due Oct. 15. Taxpayers may choose to make a single payment or partial payments as long as the total due is paid by the due date.

The evening of October 13th will be filled with the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) to be enjoyed by all ages; including crowd-favorite DJ Rob in Downtown Duluth. The fun begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.
