ATLANTA – Department of Driver Services (DDS) Commissioner Spencer R. Moore urges customers to be careful of third party websites and Apps when trying to access the Georgia Driver’s Manual or obtain other driver licensing services and information. Third party Internet sites such as www.DMV.org and www.Drivers-Licenses.org are not connected with or sanctioned by the DDS.

LAWRENCEVILLE– New Central Gwinnett High School Principal, Shane Orr, spoke at the annual meeting of the Central Gwinnett Class of 1961 this past Friday. The Central Gwinnett Class of 1961 group is organized by Mr. Hoyt Huff, and is the first class of students to attend all four years of high school at Central Gwinnett.
Eastside Medical Center earns National Accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons

SNELLVILLE – The Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted Three-Year Accreditation to the cancer program at Eastside Medical Center. To earn voluntary CoC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 CoC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.

Northside Hospital and Gwinnett Health System Reach Agreement on Combining Operations

ATLANTA – Northside Hospital and Gwinnett Health System (the parent of Gwinnett Medical Center) announced that they have submitted their
proposed merger agreement to the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General for review and approval. Depending on the review process, the five hospital Northside-Gwinnett Health combined system could be operational in early 2018.
