I have recently had the great honor of becoming a member of the Norcross community. In an effort to meet new people I joined the Norcross Garden Club. So far, I have attended a number of their meetings which always include a topic I find interesting, for example, planting to attract butterflies, what to do with gourds, and a fantastic discussion about the past Gold Medal Winning plants in Georgia.

Snellville United Methodist Church dedicated a Columbarium on Sunday, January 24th.
A columbarium is a structure consisting of small niches designed to hold urns containing cremated remains. The name Columbarium comes from the Latin “columbary” meaning a structure provided for the nesting of doves.

Officials break ground on morgue, medical examiners office
Lawrenceville – Gwinnett commissioners on Tuesday celebrated the start of a new project to build a new morgue and medical examiner’s office. The morgue space will have three state-of- the art autopsy stations plus a laboratory and space for evidence processing and storage.
