Sabrina Mergenthaler is a married stay at home mom who home schools her three children. So what was she doing running around a Bolivian jungle in her birthday suit?

Students who worked on the SMILEY Project with one of the business partners. The students were involved in a Project Based Learning opportunity in which they helped a local business market and sell a product which sanitizes sports equipment and other objects that are difficult to clean. The students learned valuable lessons about business, web design, pricing, sales, marketing, and working as a team.

Citizens Police Academy looking for applicants

Snellville– The city’s police department is now accepting applications for the 18^th session of the Citizens Police Academy. Founded in the spring of 2003, the Academy has grown to a 12-week program which takes place twice a year. It is designed to educate the public about the operation of the police department and how the involvement of the community can help deter crime.
