Preczewski named president of GGC

The University System of Georgia (USG) Board of Regents announced today that Dr. Stanley “Stas” Preczewski has been appointed president of Georgia Gwinnett College. Preczewski has served as interim president for the last year.

SNELLVILLE – Art created by the city’s most “experienced” artists is currently on display in City Hall.

Each Thursday, a group gathers at the Snellville Senior Center to learn artistic direction and enjoy two hours of creativity and fellowship.

Program for Veterans Memorial dedication set

SNELLVILLE – A ceremony leading up to the unveiling of the city’s Veterans Memorial will begin at 4 p.m. May 24.

The ceremony will feature live entertainment, military vehicles and artifacts from the Gwinnett Veterans Council War Memorial Museum.
