Parkview HS’s Marine Corps Jr Reserve Officer Training Corps was recently recognized by the Gwinnett County Board of Education at their September meeting for receiving the Naval Honor School Award.
Mary Frazier Long Day in Lawrenceville
Lawrenceville Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson issued a Proclamation making Wednesday, September 4, 2013 “Mary Frazier Long Day in Lawrenceville” at the Lawrenceville City Council meeting on that date. Many of Ms. Long’s accomplishments and contributions to Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County were proclaimed by Mayor Johnson.
Tkacik receives Doctorate Degree
Bobbie and Mark Tkacik are proud to announce that Daniel S. Tkacik has successfully defended his dissertation on “Secondary organic aerosols from combustion emissions” on September 10. 2013 at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
