New innovative asthma treatment

Living with asthma can be challenging in the Atlanta area.  According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Atlanta was rated as the number 9 asthma capital among the 100 largest U.S. cities.  For five to ten percent of asthma patients with severe asthma, breathing can be even more difficult. Fortunately, there is a new treatment called Bronchial Thermoplasty that is available here in Gwinnett County. It is helping these patients breathe better. Eastside Medical Center is one of four hospitals in Georgia that offers this new treatment.
