Celebrate the harvest season at the Apple Harvest Festival on Aug. 26 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Chesser-Williams House, on the grounds of the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center.
The Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Association held its 13th Annual Memorial Service this past April 29th. The theme of this years’ service was to honor the memory of the veterans known to be buried at Haynes Creek.
Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement on Saturday will participate in the fourth annual Clear the Shelters initiative with an Adoption Jamboree. Clear the Shelter is a national effort involving hundreds of shelters that offer free pet adoptions to help empty shelters and provide homes for dogs, cats, and other animals.
