I had my eyes opened for me the other day, and by a most unlikely person. I neglected to thank her for the deed at the time, but I’d like to do so now.
Pokemon Go. That is the name of the game, these days. I’m a little late coming to the party, but the game became so popular, so fast, that I thought I’d better learn what I can about it. Never know when such knowledge will come in handy.
Technology amazes me. What it’s accomplished in my lifetime is simply fascinating. We have the world at our fingertips, in a tiny little smart-gadget that brings us more than a computer that occupied an entire 40-degree room used to do.
The names of some of the people involved have been changed to protect the incompetents.
This is a true story. My husband’s cousin Charles has been sick for some time and he died sometime early morning on January 6.
We have had such beautiful spring weather recently. The temperatures have been in the 70’s and low 80’s. The pollen count has been in the thousands.
When did you first learn about the spirit of citizenship and American patriotism? I would venture to say that you probably learned about it as a child from your parents, grandparents, or even in school.
There is extraordinary in the ordinary. As human beings, we are blessed with infinite possibilities that can shape who we are and what we choose to do in life.
