Central Gwinnett’s Frazier signs

Central Gwinnett basketball standout, Alexandra Frazier, has committed to East Carolina University.  The East Carolina Women's Basketball Program has just completed it's move to the American Athletic Conference, where they will annually face powerhouse teams like Connecticut and Temple.

Frazier is a 5’9″ combo guard (point guard/shooting guard) who entertained 30+ offers, before finally deciding to join the Pirates.  She is a 3.8 GPA student, and plans to major in Kinesiology.  During her junior season, Frazier averaged 19.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.8 assists, earning first-team all-county honors for the second straight season, Region 8-AAAAAA Player of the Year, and Gwinnett County Super Six honors.  She also was an all-state selection, Naismith honorable mention and reached her 1,000th career point mark on Feb. 7, 2014.  This year, as a senior, she plans to build on these accomplishments in order to prepare herself for the next level.
