County Offices Close For Presidents Day Holiday, No Change To Solid Waste Collection Schedule

All Gwinnett County government offices will be closed on President’s Day, Monday, February 15th. For those in need of any business or aid from Gwinnett government offices, don’t fret! County offices will only remain closed for a day and will be back open by February 16th. However, if there is something that must be done on the 15th of February a Magistrate Court judge will be on duty at the Gwinnett County Detention Center during the holiday.

Garbage and recycling pick-up will remain on schedule for February 15th. However the Gwinnett County Solid Waste Management Call Center will also be closed on President’s Day, but luckily hauler call centers will be open so citizens can simply call. Residents of Gwinnett County can go to GCSolidWaste.com to get all the contact information they need to get in touch with their hauler. Though trash and recycling collection is technically still scheduled for normal, residents should still contact their trash and recycling provider to be fully sure whether or not pick-up will be delayed or not because of the holiday.
