Over the past several years, Eastside has established a successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) program. GMG will continue to build upon that success. Through the partnership, GMG also will help Eastside expand electrophysiology services.
GMG is composed of multi-specialty physician practices employed by Gwinnett Health System.

Fully accredited as a Chest Pain Center by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, Eastside performed 502 cardiac catheterization procedures in 2014. The hospital previously partnered with Piedmont Heart Institute in Atlanta, Ga. to bring PCI capabilities to Snellville in 2012.
