Eastside Medical Center names Trent Lind as CEO
Lind assumes role January 1, 2016

Snellville — Trent Lind has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eastside Medical Center, effective January 1, 2016.

He will join Eastside from HCA’s Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston where he currently serves as CEO. 

Lind brings an extensive list of accomplishments and outstanding experience to his new role.  During his four-year tenure at Texas Orthopedic, Lind led his team in improving patient satisfaction, achieving outstanding quality outcomes measures, and facilitating a $45 million expansion and patient room privatization. 

Prior to joining Texas Orthopedic Hospital, Lind was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of HCA’s Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo., where he was instrumental in developing many growth strategies, including the expansion of cardiac, neuroscience, orthopedic, neonatal, pediatric and oncology services.  He also served as COO of HCA’s Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Fla.

Throughout his career with HCA, Lind has served in several community leadership roles such as Chairman of the Weekly YMCA Board of Directors, Board of Directors for Englewood Chamber of Commerce, member of the Economic Development Group with the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, and served on the American Heart Association’s Denver Executive Leadership Team.

Lind earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Journalism from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

Lind and his wife, Lainey, have two children.
