The joint seminars will be led by experienced and knowledgeable Orthopedic Surgeons who practice in the Gwinnett County community. Dr. Kehne Moeller, Dr. Shaun Traub, and Dr. James Dallis will each be leading a seminar. The seminars will be held at Eastside Medical Center’s main campus in Snellville, Georgia and are free to the public. These seminars are an opportunity for community members to receive free education on both hip and knee replacement surgeries and have open Q & A with the physician team. At Eastside Medical Center, the orthopedic teams guide patients from their first visit to surgery and continue throughout recovery. If the patient and their physician decide that total joint replacement is the right option, Eastside Medical Center offers a comprehensive program called Joint Destinations for both hip and knee replacement. Joint Destinations offers a multidisciplinary team approach in an environment that promotes both healing and excellence. Each patient will have access to a joint care coordinator.
The joint care coordinator is there to inavigate the patient through the process and for the patient to look to for guidance every step of their journey. The physicians and staff involved with this program want the patient to feel informed and comfortable. Immediately following surgery, patients will begin the journey to their final destination- a life free of joint pain- in the luxury setting of The Joint & Spine Pavilion at Eastside.
“It is amazing to see the progress these patients make, many in such a short period of time after surgery,” said Jessica Cintron, joint care coordinator at Eastside Medical Center. “As the care coordinator for Joint Destinations, I work one on one with each patient who comes through the program. Each quarter we host an anniversary dinner and invite Joint Destinations patients to come back to celebrate their progress.
