Fire Marshall awarded

Commendation Medal bythe Atlanta Chapter Sons of the American Revolutionfor his leadership in the Community Risk Reduction Division of the Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services.  Blackwell manages the Rest Safe Program working directly with the hotel and motel industry in the county.  Blackwell and his family were featured guests at a meeting of the Button Gwinnett Chapter SAR at Northwoods Country Club on July 11 where the medal was presented.
