Gerald Franklin Johnson

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dora Louise Johnson of Snellville; sons and daughter in law, Terry Lee Johnson of Arlington and Barry and Kay Johnson of Loganville; daughter, Treisa Rose Johnson of Loganville; granddaughter, Jennifer Leigh Johnson of Los Angles; grandson, Samuel Noah Johnson of Loganville; sister and brother in law, Paul and Glenda Hurst of Mattoon; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gerald proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the U.S. Army during the Korean War/Conflict. He was a member of Grayson Masonic Lodge #549 and a member of Snellville Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time reading and was a devoted husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle and friend too many. A Masonic Graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Gerald Franklin Johnson will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA.
