Auriana’s Giveback Mission is a new program in Gwinnett County geared toward fostering compassion and good citizenship in toddlers and kids of all ages. In December 2012, Elizabeth Alcaraz (founder) was searching for charity opportunities that her 3 year old daughter, Auriana, could attend. Not finding anything open to children so young, Elizabeth partnered with a local charity organization and Auriana’s Giveback Mission was born. In the past year Auriana, now 4, has developed a passion for giving. This year, she specifically stated that “We must help the boys and girls who don’t have toys and clothes feel better this Christmas”.

And that is just what they are doing! During a festive Christmas party, 2-6 year olds will be making Christmas cards, while older children and teens will be wrapping and labeling the gifts.

Auriana’s Giveback Mission is working with Good News at Noon (Gainesville), A New Walk Ministries (Gainesville), and The Boys and Girls Club of Metro (Lawrenceville) to ensure that each child is blessed this holiday season.

If you would like to help an organization  sponsor children in need and teach young people the joys and importance of giving, please consider donating a new, unwrapped, toy.
