The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Rho Kappa Lambda Chapter, located in Gwinnett County, are seeking to raise $2,000 in school supplies for local students during its Alphas for Achievement Cookout, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Members of the public are encouraged to drop by the cookout and drop-off donations of supplies for students in the Discovery High School cluster. Supplies include notebook paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, pocket folders, one-subject notebooks, crayons/markers, and erasers.
