Gwinnett Chamber to Offer Opportunities for All at August 20 Business Expo and Job Fair
150+ Organizations seek prospects and qualified workforce

The 2015 Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo & Job Fair, presented by Gwinnett Medical Center, will deliver opportunities for more than 150 exhibitors to cultivate new business while giving job seekers a platform to get in front of organizations looking to hire qualified talent.

The Business Expo & Job Fair will be held on August 20, 2015 at the Gwinnett Center from 1 to 7 pm, following a Chamber General Membership Meeting, featuring United States Senator David Perdue.

At no cost, professionals can learn from the region’s top business experts at the event’s complimentary seminars highlighting branding, communication, customer service, employee engagement, leadership, sales and social media. For those looking for a career change, the Job Fair is the place to be to meet with the area’s leading companies that are now hiring.

“The Business Expo & Job Fair does a fantastic job of showcasing the internal collaboration of business, education, and government along with Gwinnett’s solid reputation for job creation and business growth,” said Randy Dellinger, District Manager at Jackson EMC and 2015 Gwinnett Chamber Board Chair. “The business activity shown is second to none and a fine example of Gwinnett’s vibrant economy and its thriving business and economic environment.”

Like the Gwinnett Chamber, the Expo & Job Fair focuses on growing businesses throughout Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta. Events such as this help to create an environment for companies looking to grow and expand, resulting in more quality jobs and a better quality of life.

“Based on our chamber involvement including the Business Expo, Gwinnett Medical Center associates, prospective vendors and the community can discuss how we can work together on today’s business issues,” said Phil Wolfe, President & CEO of Gwinnett Medical Center. “This type of engagement – combined with other activities – allows prospective vendors and GMC associates to collaborate on best practices in the evolving healthcare climate.”

Concluding the Expo & Job Fair will be the Gwinnett Chamber’s largest Business After Hours event of the year, featuring fare, entertainment and providing the ideal avenue to make connections.
