Gwinnett Medical Center’s Primary Care & Specialty Center in Suwanee celebrates one year anniversary

Lawrenceville – Gwinnett Medical Center's (GMC) Primary Care & Specialty Center in Suwanee recently celebrated its one year anniversary. Since its opening in 2017, over 5,500 patients have been seen.

Conveniently located at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, patients have access to family care and various specialties in one location. This allows for quick and effective treatment from trusted healthcare experts in their community.

“When searching for a new primary care facility, I was excited to find GMC Primary Care & Specialty Center two blocks away from my home; as my primary care physicians, Dr. Kholi and Dr. Glessner have exceeded my expectations,” said Lorrie Drinkard, Suwanee resident. “Based on their referrals, I was also able to consult with a gastroenterologist and cardiologist at the same location.”

“Providing quality healthcare for patients in their neighborhood, in one location, is extremely convenient,” says GMC’s Hira Kohli, MD, who leads the center’s family medicine services. “Experts can help them take action before symptoms manifest through proactive healthcare solutions and accessibility to experts.”

As a result of the patient demand in the first year, plans are underway to expand.

The specialty center provides family medicine services include rheumatology, cardiology, gastroenterology, obstetrics, and gynecology services. Complementary services include cardiac imaging, ultrasound services, and 24/7 online scheduling. Additional services will be added in the near future. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made online or by calling (678) 312-8400.
