Gwinnett names three principals for new school year

Ivy Creek ES, Lanier MS, and Sweetwater MS:

During its monthly meeting in June, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the following educational leaders as principals at schools.

These leaders will fill vacancies created by a retirement and transfers.

Mr. Hamilton will lead Lanier Middle as Principal Jaime Espinosa transitions to the Office of Student Discipline and Behavioral Interventions in the district’s division of School Improvement and Operations. Mr. Hamilton is a graduate of the school district’s 2009 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal Program.
