Bay began her career as an administrative resident at Gwinnett Medical Center and then accepted a position as administrative coordinator at Glancy Rehabilitation Center. Eventually she was named vice president and then moved into her current role as president of GMC-Duluth. Bay is board certified in healthcare management (FACHE).
Several years ago, Bay led the establishment of GMC-Duluth to replace Joan Glancy Memorial Hospital. Since its opening, she expanded services based on community assessments to include the Center for Surgical Weight Management.
Additionally, GMC-Duluth’s highly successful sports medicine program, which attracts a range of athletes from across north metro Atlanta, includes the Concussion Institute. As the southeast’s only comprehensive concussion treatment center, this facility houses state-of-the-art technology and a team of highly skilled experts committed to raising the standard of care for athletes who suffer from a concussion.
An avid runner, Bay enjoys spending quality time with her husband and ten year old twins. She received her bachelor’s of business administration from Emory University and a master’s of business administration and a master’s of health administration from Georgia State University.
