The event will take place:
Saturday, March 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Gwinnett Medical Center’s Resource Center
665 Duluth Highway
Lawrenceville, Georgia
“Since many still seek coverage under the new healthcare act, GMC wanted to help the community further connect with the resources available to fulfill the enrollment process, said GMC’s Susan Troccia, director of coordinated care. “It’s not uncommon for patients to inquire about the enrollment process during our daily interactions.”
GMC is hosting this event along with Enroll America, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization focused on maximizing the number of Americans who are enrolled in and retain health coverage. The organization works to reach uninsured consumers with information on getting coverage that fits their needs and their budget
Healthcare navigators advise enrollment takes about an hour and may vary depending on individual needs and circumstances. The event is being held in collaboration also with Georgia Watch, Jewish Family & Career Services and The Health Initiative.
