My favorite thing during this time of year is to go ice skating! I like to bring a couple of friends with me and take a few hours to skate and enjoy the season.
Other fun holiday activities consist of decorating Christmas cookies! I do this every year with my family on Christmas Eve, however this is fun to do anytime!
I also love making homemade Christmas ornaments. It is such a fun craft that you can display on your Christmas tree when you are finished! You can purchase clear ornaments at your local craft store and decorate them with paint, glitter, markers, etc.
Other fun, general activities that you can enjoy over the holiday season are decorating a ginger bread house, drive around town and view all of the Christmas lights that are hung this time of year, watch your favorite Christmas movies, such as Dr. Suess’s The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Home Alone, Disney’s The Santa Clause, etc.
