The right amount of light

By definition, light is something that makes vision possible. Light can affect your mood and enhance your surroundings; but what can you do in a room where there is too much light? 

One of the questions I’ll ask is: do you want to diminish the light or block it entirely? The answer will depend on which room or rooms where you want to control the light. For example, in your Family Room do you want to reduce the amount of bright sun that’s streaming in so you can watch TV, or in your Master Bedroom do you want as little light as possible so you can sleep when the sun is out? The answers begin to define which window covering product will provide the optimal solution to control the light.

There is any number of blinds or shades that offer light control. One of the options we offer is a shade that will open down from the top, allowing light in at the upper part of the window while keeping the lower part of the window covered for privacy. On a similar premise is a dual-purpose shade that has sheer fabric at the top and semi-opaque or opaque fabric at the bottom.
