In-home care is a wide variety of services in the convenience of your home, assisted living and independent living, these services allow you to stay in the familiar place you call home, your home or any place call home and receive help from career caregivers.
A career caregiver is a person trained at an accredited school to become a certified nurse aide, who are paid to care for people with constraints.
Type of Services:
Companionship – a career caregiver who assist a patient who needs minimal assistance with preparing meals, preparing special diets light housekeeping, engages conversations & activities, accompanies to a doctor’s appointment, grocery shopping, medication reminders and any task that does not involve hands-on with a patient. This service is provided in the comfort of someone’s home and it is personalized, one caregiver to one patient.
Personal Care – Includes direct contact with the patient. A career caregiver provides hands-on care like: bathing, dressing, assistance with toileting, incontinent care, oral & denture care, shaving, shampooing hair, assistance in walking, following doctors order exercise plan, total care, feeding the client, medication reminder, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, accompanying to doctor’s appointment and more. This service is provided in the comfort of someone’s home and it is personalized, one caregiver to one patient.
Professional Help – involves a skilled professional such as a registered nurse to that can provide a variety of medical care like dressing wounds and more, a physical therapist helps injured, or ill people improve their movement and manage their pain and an occupational therapist to improve and treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. This service is available at home and nursing home.
Nursing Home – Is an institution providing residential accommodations for people who cannot help themselves. One career caregiver takes care of around 10-12 patients.
