The Lawrenceville Woman’s Club is a member of the Georgia Federation of Woman’s Clubs (GFWC) and the National General Federation. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser event help support several charitable and community outreach programs in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County and beyond. The purpose of LWC is to provide an organizational framework for its members to improve the quality of life on a local, state, national and international level.
The membership of the Lawrenceville Woman’s Club has had a powerful impact on the Gwinnett community. For example, LWC provided the leadership to begin the Gwinnett Council for the Arts, Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful and the Gwinnett Hospital Auxiliary. Its interests are as varied as its membership. As a group of caring women, its goal is to help determine the needs of the community and work to fulfill those needs through Community Improvement Projects (CIP) programs.
Members of the club decorate each dining table for the luncheon with their individual style which creates a very festive and beautiful atmosphere. The Lawrenceville Woman’s Club invites the community to share an afternoon of fantastic food, fabulous fashion and community support.
