More than 50 church volunteers cooked assembled and handed out the dinners with sometimes astonished looks from people asking….”Why are you doing this? What’s the catch?”…..No catch, just love!”
Each dinner was stamped with a sticker that had the verse John 3:16 written on it. One husband and wife team, who was served dinner earlier, came back later and volunteered to help. He had just recently been blessed with finding a new job and wanted to give back by helping. He said, “”I’m glad to try to help serve in such a cause as this.” God has blessed us at Lilburn Christian Church and He has blessed the Lilburn community.”
