Lilburn Farmers Market: July events

The Lilburn Farmers Market continues its 8th season of their seasonal market operating every Friday in June, July and August from 4pm to 8pm located at 1400 Killian Hill Road, Lilburn, GA.

Lilburn Famers MarketThe market is a producer only market that specializes in locally grown and produced items. Food Trucks are available for a delicious and quick Friday dinner.

The Lilburn Farmers Market is proud to offer a ‘Booth to a Cause’ for local organizations. Come and learn about Staged Right Theatre Company, Georgia English Bulldog Rescue and Georgia Gwinnett College athletics.  Also master gardeners from the Gwinnett County Extension service will be available to answer questions about your landscape and gardens. On July 21st, LifeSouth Community Blood Center bloodmobile will be at the market.

Nourish, a guide to incorporating local food at the family table, will host chef demonstrates each Friday using foods found at the market. Come by see how to create the dish, taste the dish and take home the recipe to make it at home. It’s a great way to get your kids to eat healthy.

Live music from local artists, face painting, free kid’s activities and GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club’s Little Free Library are weekly events.

Partnering with Wholesome Wave Georgia, the Lilburn Farmers Market participates in the Georgia Fresh for Less program which doubles the EBT/SNAP benefits on eligible purchases at the market.

The Lilburn Farmers Market is sponsored by Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church to provide a venue for local farmers and producers to sell their products directly to the consumer. More information about the market can be found at www.lilburnfarmersmarket.org.
