The Lilburn Farmers Market is much more than a place to purchase farm fresh fruits/produce and locally made items. It has become a hub for the community to meet and enjoy all the other activities provided at the market too. Favorite activities returning are food trucks, GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club’s Little Free Library and children’s activities, chef demos, LifeSouth blood drives, Gwinnett Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners Q & A tent, and local musicians.
A new addition this year is a partnership with Wholesome Wave Georgia and Project Generation Gap, a 501c(3) organization dedicated to improving food access and education in Georgia. This program doubles each Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) dollar spent at our sustainable, producer-only market. Also new this year is the My Market Club customer loyalty program.
