Grayson NG3

The best way to follow up a good summer is to have a great start to a new school year! At Grayson, NG3 is investing in more students and more sports than ever before.

We have an opportunity to lead a character development program, help students to engage in serving their community, but most of all, to be a part of a small group mentorship called Huddle. We have launched more huddles than ever before, and that can only happen when the community gets involved.

This year, we had a little help from a community friend, David Greene, who stopped in to help us kick off the year launching our Huddles! He spoke to a large group of our football players who are committing to Huddle, about the importance of playing with high character but also living life off the field with high character. We are so thankful for Greene and his involvement with us this year. Gwinnett is great, and I love how the communities come together to make a difference in people’s lives.

It’s along these lines that we would love to invite you to a community event coming up on September 17th, 2017 at the Grayson Community Park. It’s important for communities to have time to gather, get to know each other, and remove more and more of those things that try and divide us. To do this well, we’ve invited over 20 of our favorite local restaurants and caterers, because everything is better when food is involved.

So bring your friends, families, and neighbors out to the Taste Of Grayson, September 17th, from 12:30-3pm. Bob Bailey’s Appliance is our presenting sponsor, with Christian Brothers Automotive and Sam’s Club being our Gold Sponsors for the event. There will be raffle items, including a large Primo grill on the day of the event. There will be a live DJ, Brooks Entertainment, as well as a fun kid zone with some inflatables. Don’t miss out on the new Taste Of Grayson. You can purchase your tickets online at www.tasteofgrayson.org, in person at the Grayson Coffee House before the event, or the day of the event at Grayson Community Park. All proceeds will benefit NG3 Grayson. Thank you for your support!

See you in Grayson soon!
