2019 Snellville Days Festival

For more than 40 years, people from Snellville and the surrounding area have converged on T.W. Briscoe Park for the Snellville Days Festival! This year is no different. May 4 & 5, crowds of more than 30,000 are expected to pack the two-day arts and crafts festival to enjoy tons of hand-made arts and crafts in over 150 booths as well as the most entertainment the festival has ever offered.

The Snellville Days festival is one of the largest Arts and Crafts shows in metro Atlanta and offers lots of fair foods from local civic and non-profit organizations serving up everything from barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, peanuts, and popcorn as well as exciting entertainment and fun for the whole family!

Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show– Jurassic Kingdom will have audiences roaring with excitement! Not only do patrons get to experience life-like dinosaurs in ACTION, they also have the opportunity to touch and interact with them throughout the show! Meet fantastic characters such as Terry the talking, comical pterodactyl, Jack – a 2 month old Brontosaurus & many more! Catch the shows on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 1:30, and 4:30 p.m., and Sunday at 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.

K’9s In Flight Dog Show– are the country’s premier K9 Sports entertainers, with over 15 years of professional experience. They have dazzled fans all across America and beyond. Audiences of all ages will be entertained by this non-stop, action-packed performance showcasing the top amazing K-9 sports, including high jump and Frisbee all in a fun, high-flying atmosphere. Watch them Saturday at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., & 4 p.m., and Sunday at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.

Master of The Chainsaw: Brian Ruth – Brian Ruth, “Master of the Chainsaw”, will transform a raw, 2 foot long log into a true work of art with only a chainsaw. Ruth has been carving sculptures with a chainsaw for more than 20 years. Catch him Saturday at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., & 4p.m. and Sunday at noon, 2 p.m., & 4 p.m.

Robocars– Robocars are a unique and fun range of brightly colored, life-size, transforming Robot vehicles. Operator driven they walk & drive creating endless excitement and photo opportunities for the whole family! Catch them roaming the grounds and interacting with children & adults of all ages! This year’s Robocar will be a Volkswagen Beetle Sponsored by Stone Mountain Volkswagen. Catch them roaming the festival grounds daily.

TreeMan & Cowboy Woody– Don’t miss the Walking TreeMan & Cowboy Woody! Barely distinguishable from real trees, Walking TreeMan moves slowly and deliberately down the street, and can be seen from 150 yards away! Keep your eyes peeled also for someone dressed as Woody from Toy Story…only he’s 10 feet tall performing lasso tricks! Catch them roaming the festival grounds daily.

Local Entertainment– Some of the best local artists, schools, and entertainment will fill the stage near the food court all day Saturday and Sunday for your listening and viewing pleasure! Snellville Community Garden Master Gardeners will be selling plants and hosting short seminars throughout both days to educate visitors.

The crowds are sure to be big on Saturday and it is strongly recommended to use the free shuttle from Snellville First Baptist Church, it will run from 10 a.m., to 7 p.m., on Saturday, however the shuttle will not be running on Sunday. Beautiful T.W. Briscoe Park is located at 2500 Sawyer Parkway in Snellville. The hours of the festival are Saturday May 4, from 10 a.m., to 6 p.m., and Sunday, May 5, from noon to 5 p.m.
