City of Lawrenceville Announces 2021 Election Results

November 2, 2021: The City of Lawrenceville held elections for two of its five positions on City Council and reports the following unofficial results:

Newly elected Council member, Austin Thompson, will take the Council Post 3 seat. Austin Thompson received 659 votes (51%), while Katrina Fellows received 508 votes (40%), and Edwar Aviles Mercedes received 119 votes (9%).

Newly elected Council member, Marlene Taylor-Crawford, will take the Council Post 4 seat. Marlene Taylor-Crawford received 673 votes (52%), while Bruce Hardy received 619 votes (48%). The new City Council members will assume their elected roles in January 2022, joining current Council members, Victoria Jones, Glenn Martin, and Mayor David Still.
