Gwinnett Gynecology and Maternity is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Brittany Merritt, OB/GYN to their physician team. Dr. Brittany Merritt will be joining Dr. Vonda Ware and Dr. Carmen McGee to provide maternity services alongside Dr. Peter Mann and Dr. Janice Pressley who provide gynecology and uro-gynecology services.
Dr. Brittany Merritt is an Atlanta area native and grew up in Roswell, Georgia. She attended The Georgia Institute of Technology where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. After graduating from Georgia Tech, she attended the Emory University School of Medicine and School of Public Health where she completed a combined medical degree and Masters in Public Health. Dr. Merritt then completed her residency in Savannah, Georgia, and she was selected as the chief resident in her last year of residency. Dr. Merritt has a special interest in adolescent gynecology as well as high-risk obstetrics and maternity care. She and her husband reside in the Atlanta area and Dr. Merritt is excited to begin treating patients here in Gwinnett County.

In addition to providing care throughout a patient’s pregnancy, preconception healthcare services are also offered to seek advice on how to prepare your body for pregnancy.
