Since 1932, the AAPA has provided scholarships to women from the Atlanta area, as part of its goal of supporting academic achievement among women. “Madison is an exceptional young lady and very deserving winner of this scholarship,” said AAPA President, Connie Pope.
Hill, a resident of Lilburn and daughter of Ed and Deirdre Hill, is a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and the National Arts Society. She has earned the highest honor in Girls Scouting, the Gold Award, and participated in the Miss Parkview Pageant, raising $1,500 in donations for the event. Hill volunteers at the Snellville United Methodist Church, Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Dream House for Medically Fragile Children, and is the assistant coach for the Cedar Creek swim team. She has served as a page for both Senator Balfour and State Representative Pale and has been invited to the National Student Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. Hill currently interns for Warren Auld, PC in Snellville.
Hill plans on attending Stetson University and majoring in political science, pre-law, and minoring in either business or history.
Hill was presented with her scholarship during the AAPA Scholarship Luncheon on May 3, 2014 held at the Cherokee Town Club in Atlanta, Georgia.

AAPA membership is composed of 21 representative alumnae from the 26 NPC member fraternities. For over 80 years, the purpose of the AAPA has been to inform fraternity women of current trends, promote the fraternity system, improve the Panhellenic image, and stimulate a continuing interest in Panhellenic affairs.
