Lane has served as Manager of the Grayson Downtown Development Authority since 2013 and will continue in her capacity as Grayson’s Main Street Manager as she assumes the additional duties of Community Development Director. Lane will oversee and manage events, promotions, and the Grayson Arts & History Center.
“This is an exciting time in Grayson,” said Lane. “I am looking forward to being part of creating a positive live, work, and play experience in our city.”
Lane brings the experience of one who is already involved in Grayson events and activities. She has spent the last year training on behalf of Main Street Grayson while serving as the city’s representative on several boards.
“I’m confident that Gail’s knowledge, talent and commitment will benefit our city,” said Mayor Allison Wilkerson. “I am pleased to see her taking on a bigger role for Team Grayson.”
