“Rusty Red”, the contemporary Americana single with the Classic Country sound rose to the number one spot on Roots Music Report’s “Top 50 True Country Song Chart” for the week September 14, 2015.
Performed and recorded by Dicky Minor and Ray Edwards at D&K Studio in Madison, North Carolina it started out as a demo. The result was so powerful, however, that it begged to be released as a radio-ready cut.
The lyrics are by Bo Edwards, from Watkinsville, Georgia.
Bo’s friend and musical colleague Bill Long, from Dacula, Georgia provided the melody.
