Staff from the GDOL’s Gwinnett Career Center will be available to assist job seekers and screen applicants for the employers. The expo will feature more than 30 employers that will be hiring or discussing future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available jobs. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
Those expected to participate in the expo include: Alcon Laboratories, Allied Barton Security, Caterpillar, Dunbar Armored, Georgia Army National Guard, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Georgia Department of Public Safety, Goodwill of North Georgia, Goodwill Corporation, Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, Gwinnett County Government, Gwinnett County Public Schools, G4S, Hi Hope Center, Lowe’s, Mansfield Oil Company, MARTA, Millenium Security Services, Rainbow Village, Ricoh Electronics, Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, Spectrum Staffing, The Ragenics Corporation, True Staffing, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and Wagner Service Solutions.
Those who attend the expo will learn about a wide-variety of additional resources, events and meetings sponsored by Crossroads and the GDOL designed to assist in job search and career development.
