He is survived by his wife, Carol Sorrells Dalton; daughter, Lisa Dalton; granddaughter, Heather Dalton; great- grandson, Key “Little Peanut”; sister, Dottie Ahrens; step-son, Vince Marzula; and step-daughter, Tina Collins. Peanut graduated from Central Gwinnett High School in 1959 and attended Moeller Barber College. He then owned and operated Dalton’s Barbershop, where he faithfully served his clients in Snellville and the surrounding areas. He retired after 57 years of service. In 1988 & 1989, Peanut was the Gwinnett County Barber of the Year.
The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Kenneth “Peanut” Dalton will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Snellville United Methodist Church. Rev. Phil Gambil and Rev. Todd Milligan will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Snellville Historical Cemetery.
