Martha Tate’s fascinating career has included work as a teacher, long-time columnist for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and co-creator of the television series A Gardener’s Diary. She also has a variety of other interests and has travelled extensively.

“While we are delighted to have Martha as our speaker in November, we also hope Margaret Moseley herself will be able to attend,” said MSGC President Jeff Raines. Ms. Moseley, now 98 years old, is an icon of garden enthusiasts in Georgia and is widely known for hosting countless visitors to tour her garden through the years.  The book by Ms. Tate was published in 2013 and provides an insightful look at the evolution of Margaret Moseley’s garden and how her work, her joy, and her dedication have inspired so many.
MSGC is open to men and women of all ages who enjoy learning more about a diverse range of gardening topics. The meeting and program begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Refreshments and socializing follow. The meeting location is Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 5801 Hugh Howell Road, Stone Mountain. Free.
