Directed by Simpson’s music teacher, Jan Smith, and parent volunteers, the chorus and two drama casts rehearsed for months to prepare to perform for all students at Simpson and the local community. Lewis & Clark shares the story of the duo’s journey, along with their companions, up to the Missouri River, over the Rocky Mountains and to the Pacific Ocean. The performances, sets and costumes were made possible by support from the Simpson Elementary PTA. The Simpson Singers also performed the National Anthem at the Braves game on Friday, May 6.
