Snellville Lions Donate Bench

In celebration of Lions Clubs International’s 100 years of service, the Snellville Lions Club donated a park bench that was erected on the grounds of Snellville City Hall.

At the June 12th City Council Meeting, Snellville Lions Club was presented a Proclamation by the Mayor and City Council recognizing the centennial anniversary of Lions Clubs International and the donation of the bench by the local Lions Club to the City of Snellville.

Today, there are 1.4 million members in 47,000 clubs in over 200 countries and geographic areas around the world.  The Lions motto is “We Serve”, and members serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding.
